In 2009, the PROM Company performed works for Mostostal Pomorze and Mostostal Krakow as part of the 10+ programme of the LOTOS group. As part of the 10+ programme aimed at the improvement of LOTOS S.A. company's infrastructure, the PROM company has performed painting and maintenance works in storage tanks for diesel oil with a volume of 32 000 m3 each.
The Prom company has been entrusted with the task of the restoration of 3 double shell tanks. The process consisted in cleaning surfaces to the Sa-2,5 class in accordance with the PN-ISO 8501-1 norm. Rust-proofing has been performed with the use of paint set by the OLIVA company. The painting of the internal surface has been carried out through the triple application of paint until the thickness of 500 µm was obtained; external surface to the thickness of 300 µm. Our Company has rust-proofed tanks with the total surface area of ca. 42 000 m2 using a method chosen by an ordering party and in accordance with norms, meeting expectations of painting inspectors, quality control and ordering parties.
